Please join us in welcoming our newest talent, Sydnie Martin, to the Citizens Family! Sydnie brings previous experience in customer service and banking to the table in her new role as a Relationship Banker in our La Crosse office!
Sydnie was born and rasied just up the road in Holmen, WI, where she grew up with one sister. There are too many options for her to chose just one favorite activity, but she enjoys any form of spontaneous adventure and will try anything at least once. Sydnie's favorite TV channel is either the Food Network or any home improvement show. She does not fancy herself as the best cook or builder, but watching the shows gives her the confidence that she can do anything! For Sydnie's hidden talent, she said that she likes to think she is funny and she can also sing!
When we asked Sydnie for the craziest thing she has ever done, we got an entire short story as an answer! We'll let her tell you herself: "This past year I went ziplining in the jungles of Belize, and if you know anything about ziplining, you know you zipline from tree to tree. If you know anything about jungles, you know that jaguars live there and can climb trees. If you put two and two together, that equals the craziest thing I have ever done! No, I did not see a jaguar while ziplining, but it makes the story more interesting!"
If Sydnie ever found herself stranded on a desert island, she would be craving an ice cold brewski with a plate of nachos piled high with all of the fixings! Everybody loves a good plate of nachos. We also dove into some of the items on Sydnie's bucket list, where she shared with us a desire to ride a bike through the towns of Italy and stop at all of the little farmers markets along the way. Or, there is always skydiving; we can't say Sydnie lacks an adventurous spirit, that's for sure!
Lastly, we asked what Sydnie would wish for if she could be granted just one wish: "That everyone loves everyone and there is no hate in the world."
