What was your education and career path before you landed in HR?

I graduated from UW Madison and spent 20+ years in the insurance industry before joining Citizens as La Crosse General Manager in 2014.

 

If you weren't so damn good at your job, what would you be doing?

Planning my next road/camping trip to one of America’s National Parks.

 

 What's the most inspiring part of your job?
 

Working with our fabulous new employees and helping them to understand our culture and mission.

 

If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?

Working hard and playing hard.

 

When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Doctor

 

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars here at Citizens?

We only get one chance to make a first impression, so dress to impress when come in to meet us.

 

If you could invent a holiday, what would it involve?

Chips and Beer!
