We're excited to announce the promotion of
Jake Kiekhaefer to IT Support & Compliance Specialist
Jake began his Citizens journey in June 2022 after graduating from UW–La Crosse with a degree in Finance and a minor in Information Systems. He joined us as a Credit Analyst, but after a year and a half, he decided to take his career in a new direction—IT. Stepping into the role of Computer Support Specialist proved to be an excellent fit, allowing him to combine his problem-solving skills with his passion for technology.
Since then, Jake has quickly become a go-to resource for IT support across the bank. He has played a big part in strengthening our use of tools like M365, exploring AI integration, and building operational efficiencies. His forward-thinking mindset and commitment to excellence have made him a key contributor to our IT team, and we’re confident he’ll continue to make a big impact in his new role.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys hiking, road trips, and exploring new places. One of his favorite adventures was playing a game of four square at the exact spot where Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico meet. He’s also creative at heart, with talents in drawing, cooking, and more.
