We're excited to officially welcome Abbey Bettis to the Citizens State Bank team as a Loan Processor in our La Crosse office!
Bringing a strong background in leadership, customer service, and a genuine desire to learn and grow, Abbey is a wonderful addition to our team. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for creating positive customer experiences, leading teams with a collaborative approach, and staying focused on delivering results. Working in a fast-paced environment helped her develop strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with both customers and coworkers. Her commitment to excellent service, attention to detail, and willingness to take on new challenges have prepared her well for her role at Citizens State Bank.
Before joining Citizens State Bank, Abbey spent several years in a leadership position managing a busy customer-focused team. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting and developing team members, and ensuring customers received a consistently positive experience. Those experiences strengthened her communication skills, taught her the importance of teamwork, and reinforced the value of building trust through exceptional service. The skills and perspective she brings through that experience make her a great fit for our lending team as she continues to grow her banking career.
A La Crosse native with two older brothers, Abbey enjoys spending her free time reading, solving puzzles, taking walks, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. She also has an adventurous side; one of the craziest things she's ever done was cliff jumping into the Chattooga River in Georgia! She enjoys board games like Catan and euchre, loves listening to pop music and 80s classics, and cheers on Wisconsin sports teams whenever she can. Her favorite meals include a big burger or sesame chicken with crab rangoons.
One experience at the top of Abbey's bucket list is walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain with her mom, a journey that perfectly reflects her love of adventure, family, and creating meaningful memories.
