We’re excited to welcome Ben Simar to the Citizens team as our newest Full-Time CER in the La Crosse office!
Ben brings a well-rounded background in customer service, youth programming, and team operations, making him a strong asset to our growing team. His ability to adapt to new environments, maintain a positive and professional demeanor, and deliver exceptional service has been a consistent theme throughout his career. One of Ben’s standout experiences was his time working in golf operations, where he served as an Assistant Golf Professional. In that role, he managed daily pro shop activities, coordinated tee times, supported golf instruction, and ensured guests had a seamless and enjoyable experience. His attention to detail and commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere were key to his success — and those same qualities will serve him well in his new role at Citizens.
Ben also has experience supporting youth and community programs, where he worked closely with individuals of all ages in both educational and recreational settings. His ability to connect with people, solve problems on the fly, and contribute to a team-oriented culture makes him a natural fit for our CER role.
Outside of work, Ben is an avid golfer and a loyal ESPN fan. He’s known for his spot-on Dick Vitale impression and has skydiving on his bucket list — not bad for someone who’s afraid of heights! With an adventurous spirit and big dreams, including owning a professional sports team one day, we’re excited to see where his journey takes him.
