From day one, Belinda Olson has approached her role at Citizens State Bank with an incredible “Yes I Can” attitude, and it shows in everything she does. In her first year with Citizens, Belinda has gone above and beyond by consistently stepping up, jumping in, and finding ways to create value for her team, our customers, and our community.
Belinda is always willing to lend a hand, even when the task falls outside her department or comfort zone. Whether it’s learning something new, offering support where it’s needed most, or taking on additional responsibility, she leads with positivity and a genuine desire to help others succeed. Her willingness to serve as a backup for morning processing and her leadership during the credit card processing conversion are just a couple examples of how she embraces challenges with confidence and flexibility.
Engagement is truly where Belinda shines. In just her first year, she has demonstrated a strong emotional commitment to Citizens by actively participating in [often leading] our culture initiatives. She fully embraces fun, out‑of‑the‑box activities, setting the tone for what it means to be connected and engaged, and she doesn’t just participate, she energizes those around her. Her deep passion for volunteering and community involvement is evident in how consistently she raises her hand for events like Meals on Wheels, Kane Garden, Back‑to‑School initiatives, and many others throughout the year. Belinda also values the everyday moments that bring our culture to life, choosing to spend time in the Café meeting with coworkers, enjoying lunch, or taking a well‑deserved break to play a game and connect. Through both her community involvement and her presence within the building, she strengthens relationships across teams and reminds us that engagement is built through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and time spent together.
Belinda’s participation extends beyond her formal responsibilities. She served as a CET class leader and successfully led her team through both quarterly engagement competitions, even though she is not in a sales role. Her ability to motivate, encourage participation, and bring people together highlights her natural leadership and dedication to team success.
Above all, Belinda brings a great attitude and a smile to work every day. Her positivity, willingness to learn, and readiness to support others make a meaningful and lasting impact across the organization.
