Congratulations to Erin Nilsestuen – Engaged Employee of the First Quarter 2025!
Senior Leadership is thrilled to recognize Erin Nilsestuen as our Engaged Employee of the Quarter — a truly well-deserved honor that reflects her outstanding commitment, positivity, and passion for everything she brings to Citizens State Bank.
From the moment Erin walks through the doors, her high-spirited energy, confidence, and contagious smile set the tone for the day. She approaches every situation with a “Yes I Can” attitude and consistently offers a helping hand wherever and whenever it’s needed. Erin fully embodies all six of our core values — Fun, Attitude, Responsive, Accountable, Excellence, and Engaged, and she lives them out daily through her actions, interactions, and leadership in her role.
A culture champion in every sense, Erin brings fun and enthusiasm into everything she does. She has played a vital role in helping organize and execute impactful events like United Way Week and most recently our annual Easter Egg Race. Erin actively engages in internal culture initiatives by submitting Funny Boards, writing Star recommendations, and sending numerous Cheers through TINYpulse, all to lift others up and celebrate our team.
Erin’s dedication extends well beyond the walls of Citizens. She generously gives her time to the La Crosse Area Society for Human Resources as Program Director, as well as to United Way Day of Caring, Doggy Day Out with the Coulee Region Humane Society, and Steppin’ Out in Pink. Her community spirit also shines through her participation in Western Technical College mock interview night, Summer Days on Main, and Salvation Army Bell Ringing. Erin understands the importance of community involvement and never hesitates to volunteer when she can, a true reflection of our values in action.
She also takes initiative in every way imaginable, never waiting to be asked. Whether it’s coming in on a weekend to support the H.E.R.O. team, or ensuring our recruiting process continues without a hitch, Erin always steps up and gives her best.
