Citizens State Bank will be rolling up their sleeves and volunteering at iFeed on Saturday, November 2nd! What is iFeed? iFeed is an event where over 100,000 dried meals are packed and ready for shipment to a country where children are hungry. It is also a one-day Coulee Region (and beyond) food drive to fill the shelves of our local food pantries. 36 teams (450+ volunteers) will pack for about 6 total hours. 12 volunteers from Citizens State Bank will be packing food on the day of the event at Logan High School.
iFeed was honored to be selected as "Organization of the Year" for 2018 by the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse and accepted the award at their annual Hunger Forum in May of this year. In 2018, 35,000 food items were collected to fill our local food shelves and 36 teams (including a Citizens team) packed 101,088 meals which were sent to feed hungry children in Nicaragua. With the canned goods collected throughout the community, iFeed has become the biggest food drive for the Hunger Task Force each year. The impact is great and iFeed couldn't do it without awesome people and groups to help out.
